Perennial Wisdom Traditions

Perennial wisdom traditions remain present through the ages, both transcending and underpinning religion, philosophy, science and developments of human culture. They are the source and foundation of many cultural variants of such developments.¬† They include, but are not limited to, folkloric ancestral wisdom, esoteric or “hidden” traditions, and the evolution of ethics and morality. Perennial wisdom traditions encompass the gamut of spiritual teachings from poignant ethical phrases such as The Golden Rule (“do unto others as you would have them do unto you”) to complex systems such as those of Plato, Pythagoras or the ubiquitous Tree of Life. ¬†Handed down through the ages, they provide enduring insights and practical methods of improving our relationship to our world and the greater Cosmos within which we exist.
